From psychedelia to a distant place

I'd like to introduce Tony Durant. In his student days Tony formed a prog-rock band called Fuchsia. The band released an album together in the summer of 1971, but their manager's inability to get a promised tour off the ground killed their momentum, and ultimately, the project.

Following Fuchsia, Tony took his musical career in a different direction and he eventually found his way to Australia. Thirty years later, Tony was somewhat surprised to learn that Fuchsia's album had picked up a small but dedicated following - in 2005 Mojo magazine anointed it as a 'forgotten classic'. Inspired by the renewed interest in his music, Tony revived the band and after forty-two years, released a long awaited follow up.
